Our colleague Benedikt Spiegel is not only an excellent analyst and simulator, he also usually strikes the right note. This summer, he appeared on stage as a singer in the choir of the Bregenz Festival Opera Studio. The performance of Rossini’s opera buffa “La Cenerentola” – directed by Amy Lane and conducted by Kaapo Ijas – thrilled the audience: […] In this setting, the young singers ignite a veritable fireworks display of comedy and take the absurdity to the extreme with great enthusiasm in a sophisticated staging. Four weeks of intensive rehearsals and performances with an international team of professionals gave Benedikt a unique insight into a creative working environment that is probably even more unusual than that at dwh GmbH (see photos). The switch between AI, simulation, and blue-turquoise striped stage uniforms did not harm his productivity in any of these areas—quite the contrary. We think it’s great when our employees shine on very special stages outside the world of data.
